Failure Is The Key (2nd Edition)
The exhibition features the trio-Hassan Issah, Jonathan Okoronkwo and Samuel Baah Kortey. From the gardens of the first edition to an uncompleted building—the exhibition's site mirrors the artists preoccupation with the potentiality of failures. Their works occupy a threshold between art and banality, framed and unframeable, preservation and disintegration, originality and replication. The trio's works grapple with relics of systems in decline from the automotive industry, painting conventions, and religious iconography's reproducibility.
